Join us for an engaging evening of wine exploration with expert Charles Lundington as we delve into The Art of Seasonal Wines. This special tasting and discussion will highlight the nuances of organic, biodynamic, and natural wines, exploring what truly sets these categories apart.
While the terms organic, biodynamic, and natural are often used interchangeably, each represents a distinct philosophy and approach to winemaking. Participants will discover how these production methods aim to reduce or eliminate the use of pesticides and herbicides, and how some forgo sulfites to create purer expressions of the grape.
Through guided tastings and lively conversation, Charles will illustrate how these practices influence the character and complexity of wine, and how they compare to conventional techniques. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of sustainable winemaking and the ability to make more informed, environmentally conscious choices when selecting wines for the spring and summer seasons.
