Event: Raid the Sanctuary

This event is a challenging adventure run that incorporates different types of orienteering.
The courses will be...
· Viking Course: 10.2km, 33 controls
· Visigoth Course: 7.2km, 27 controls
· Gnomes (Old Elves) Course: about 4.0 km, 18 controls
If you have never been orienteering competitively before, we encourage you to participate with a friend who has and run the Gnomes, or run the beginner/intermediate courses (see below)
There will also be beginners’ courses (White, Yellow) and an intermediate course (Orange) starting at 10.00-1.00. These will be standard orienteering courses. Pre-registration preferred and is now open. If you are not registered there may be no maps available for your course.
· Orange: About 3.3km/12 controls
· Yellow/White: 2.3km/10 controls
Beginners’ instruction will be available.
